Owner, Chase Futrell is an experienced craftsman with his family’s knowledge passed down combined with a deep love of learning and creating beautiful hand crafted furniture. Chase is committed to designing and building quality custom wood projects for all of my clients. In 2024, the business expanded as Port City Bars to offer even more specialized custom outdoor bars.

About Me
MY NAME IS Chase
I learned the basics of woodworking, as a child, from my Uncle Jimmy in Carrolton, Georgia. Throughout my childhood I found myself constantly making. That hobby fostered a great imagination. There is nothing I love more than taking a piece of wood that is tossed aside and finding the beauty in using it to make something truly unique.
In 2019, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that shifted my career path with a global pandemic quickly following. As the world quarantined, my woodworking hobby quickly became something family and friends wanted to see more of. My wife, Whitney and I decided to jump in with both feet and start our own wood working business committed to creating quality custom furniture for our customers. I absolutely love working with my customers to design pieces that are unique to them and will last.

I strive for honest customer service, so contracts are only paid in full when the finished work is to your complete satisfaction.
